ESANA
Social Fund
Although
ESANA has limited resources, we provide members with symbolic
financial support in specific situations. The social fund is governed
by the following regulations:
Social Fund is given to members A
and B only;
Social Fund applications will be
only processed for members who pay their membership
fees to ESANA. Membership fees for members "A" and "B"
is $12 for Single and 18 for Family (Married).
Please make
your payments to "Egyptian Student Association in North
America" and give it to your Unit President. Each unit will
collectively send the membership fees on behalf of their members to
ESANA social officer. In case, if there is no unit at your place you
can send your payments directly to ESANA social officer.
The social fund is 35% of the
medical paid bills (uncovered by the insurance);
The maximum limit for the single
member is $120/year and for the married member is $150/year;
In
case the delivery was not covered by a medical insurance company a
$50 is given for a newborn baby and a $100 for twins (above
the maximum limit of the member);
The social fund for eyeglasses is
35% with a maximum limit of $50 including eye exam;
All bills should be original and
paid except in case of newborn baby photo copy of the birth
certificate is accepted;
Only prescribed drugs are covered
with the social fund;
Receipts should not be older than 6 months prior to the GA
meeting held on January of each year. For example, if you are a
member in the year of 2009 and GA was held in January 17-20 2009,
you are eligible to get a refund for bills you have paid back to
July 21, 2008.
For any member to receive a social fund, he/she must meet the
required regulations, file the social
form and send it with the receipts to the social officer at:
