ESANA

Study in North America

(SINA) Project

This project aims at helping Egyptian researchers join accredited universities and research institutes in Canada and USA and advising them on different financial support resources in their field of study. This help is provided by:

  • Providing relevant information about graduate schools and their programs;
  • Helping our colleagues to have competent applications when applying to a university;
  • Maintaining a database about professors, departments, and schools that are recommended by ESANA members.

This project was launched in 1998 in its current form and has helped many Egyptian researchers to obtain acceptance and financial support in different research institutes in Canada and USA.

The SINA manager receives assistance requests to join universities in North America electronic mail and delivers them to ESANA members through ESANA emailing list asking for their support. ESANA members in collaboration with the project manager exhaust all possible avenues to respond to these assistance requests by tracking down announcement for assistantships, studentships, and employment opportunities. In addition, they contact their departments and faculty members looking for possible vacant positions.
